Women's lacrosse player Rachel Schwaner has been selected UNE Athlete of the Month for April 2015.

The senior midfielder led the Nor'easters in draw controls (32), ground balls (28), and caused turnovers (22) over the course of eight games during the period. She also contributed 19 points to the offensive efforts of UNE with 13 goals and six assists.

Schwaner was chosen to the second team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) as the year came to a close.
