Women's swimmer Lizzie Wareham has been named UNE Athlete of the Month for November.

Wareham fully or partially accounted for 10 event-wins for Big Blue during three dual meets in the month, finishing with seven individual victories and as part of three relay triumphs. She claimed both the 50-yard freestyle and butterfly races in competition against UMass Dartmouth and then Simmons, touching the wall at least 0.57 seconds faster than the next swimmer in each of the four events.

Wareham's closest test came in the 200 free of the UMD meet, where her time of 2:06.97 was just 0.12 seconds clear of the Corsairs' top performer in second place.
