Athletics Event Operations Assistant
Get right in the action! Assist the Athletics staff at all home varsity events with operations-related tasks throughout the school year (days and times dictated by the contest schedule, which regularly includes 1-3 afternoons/evenings during the week and nearly every Saturday). It's important, timely work that needs to get done, but it'll be fun too!
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Setting up and breaking down a facility for competition.
- Operation of technology like the scoreboard, video camera, statistics tracking, and music.
- Sidelines administrator.
- Ticket sales.
- Official capacities at the scorer's table.
- Action photography.
- Other duties at events and within the Athletics Department may be assigned.

Athletic Training Room Assistant
The Athletic Training Room is looking for someone to help with the day-to-day running of the AT room. Working as an Athletic Training Office Assistant gives students the opportunity to work in a health care setting, providing office care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre/post practice set up and clean up.
- Help with filing paperwork.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the Athletic Training Room.
- Organizing and re-stock the taping stations.

Equipment & Laundry Room Assistant
Under the athletics staff direction, Laundry Room Assistants provide laundry and equipment services to UNE student-athletes. The position will assist the staff in Athletics with the daily distribution, collection, laundering and storage of all athletics game uniforms and practice uniforms. Organization and storage of all athletics practice and game gear. Inventory and maintenance of laundry room equipment. Other duties within the Athletics Department may be assigned.

Intramural Official/Scorekeeper
The University of New England is seeking Intramural Officials and Scorekeepers to join our Department of Athletics. Officials and scorekeepers work a variety of recreational activities sponsored by the Intramural Sports program.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for officiating and score-keeping intramural contests and special events.
- Responsible for attending all staff meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with facility and equipment set up prior to events.
- Be a positive representative of the Intramural Sports Program and the Department of Athletics.
- Responsible for performing other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Athletics for Club/Intramural Sports.

Stormin' Norman (Mascot)
UNE Athletics is currently seeking students to perform as our mascot, Stormin' Norman. The mascot received an exciting new redesign last year and we are looking for a few students to be Norman at a variety of sporting events and other campus appearances.
Responsibilities
- Represents UNE and the college's mission and core values, in a positive and friendly manner through performances on and off campus.
- Reports to performance site on time and as scheduled and ready to be in character. Works events throughout the year, including evenings and weekends. Student class schedules are considered when booking appearances.
- Distributes UNE promotional items designed to create good will and increase attendance at events. Poses for photographs and communicates creatively without speaking.
- Personally interacts in character at performance level with UNE fans and event attendees.

Strength & Conditioning Room AssistantÂ
This work study position plays an extremely important role in the development of our Nor'easter student-athletes and teams!
You will help staff and operate our Strength & Conditioning Facility throughout the academic year - duties include checking visitors in, assisting Coach Kelley with special projects in the weight room as well as with setting up and breaking down team training sessions, cleaning and organizing and just generally LEAVING IT BETTER!
If you are interested in a career in the health sciences, Athletics or strength and conditioning, this is a great job that offers many transferrable skills for graduate school and/or employment in those fields down the road. That said, we love hiring any and all majors and backgrounds!
There are shifts as short as 1 hour or as long as 4-5 hours available and the schedule is dictated by our staff's personal availability each semester. Work as little or as much as you want to and/or your Federal Work Study award allows for. We will also pay for you training and certification in CPR/First Aid/AED, which is a requirement for the position.
