Hall of Fame:
Established in 2005, the University of New England Varsity Club Athletics Hall of Fame honors the very best in the combined history of St. Francis College, Westbrook College, and UNE.
     71 individuals and 7 teams have been inducted through 2024.

Since the Nor'easters joined the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for the 1999-2000 academic year...

* NCAA Division III Championship Appearances:
Eight (8) of the UNE programs have combined to qualify for 28 national championships (22 automatic qualifier teams, 4 at-large teams, 2 individual).
     Women's Basketball 9, Field Hockey 6, Men's Ice Hockey 5, Women's Soccer 3, Softball 2, Men's Basketball 1, Men's Cross Country 1, Women's Cross Country 1.
     Top Finishes: Semifinalist (Men's Ice Hockey '21-22, '22-23); Quarterfinalist (Men's Ice Hockey '18-19)

     Highest NACDA Learfield Directors' Cup Finish: 158th ('22-23)

* Conference Championships:
Eight (8) of the UNE programs have combined to capture 31 Commonwealth Coast Conference postseason titles.
     Women's Basketball 8, Women's Cross Country 7, Field Hockey 6, Women's Soccer 3, Men's Ice Hockey 2, Men's Cross Country 2, Softball 2, Men's Basketball 1.

* Athletic NCAA All-America Awards:
As selected by various coaches associations and organizations. View the respective sport archives below for a sport-specific list of national, regional, conference, and association honors.

(Success in national tournaments, conference championships, and awards that occurred prior to the NCAA transition, under previous affiliations, will be highlighted at a later date.)

* National Rankings:
Four (4) of the UNE programs have achieved rankings in the national poll of their sport.
     Field Hockey, 5 polls ('11, '16, '17); Women's Basketball, 26 polls ('13-14, '14-15, '15-16, '16-17); Men's Ice Hockey, 103 polls ('17-18, '18-19, '19-20, '21-22, '22-23, '23-24, '24-25); Women's Soccer, 1 poll ('23).

* Academic NCAA All-America Awards:
As selected by the College Sports Communicators, formerly College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), combining academic and athletic performance.

* UNE Annual Awards:
The Athletics Department and University recognizes its own at the conclusion of each academic year. Athlete of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, James A. Beaudry Award, Champion of Community and Belonging Award, The Stormy Awards (new in 2024-25), NCAA Woman of the Year, and more.
