Biography

2007-08:  started 21 of the 23 games in which she played...averaged 8.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game...shot a sparkling 81.5 percent from the free throw line...hit double digits in points on 10 different occasions, including back-to-back wins at Colby and Lasell.

2006-07:  recipient of the team's Coach's Award...averaged a team-high 11.2 points per game to go with 6.8 rebounds per contest (2nd on team)...shot 44.6 percent from the floor and 71.3 percent from the free throw line...scored in double digits in 20 of the team's 26 games...scored a career-high 19 points in a home win over Gordon.

2005-06:  started 11 of 26 games...averaged 8.4 points (third-best) and and 4.7 rebounds (second-best)...shot 74.1 percent from the charity stripe.

High School:  honor roll student at Spaulding High School...made the all-conference team her senior season and was selected MVP of her team.

Personal:  daughter of Joanne and Burt Pelkey...majoring in occupational therapy...has volunteered at an elderly home and adult day care center.
