Coaching Experience
Surette was previously the assistant coach at Southern Maine Community College from 2009-11, and the assistant varsity coach at Waynflete School the year prior. She was also the varsity field hockey coach at Waynflete for three seasons (2008-10).
Playing Experience
Surette was an accomplished player at NCAA Division III Colby-Sawyer College from 2004-08. She was the 10th player in Chargers history to reach the 1,000-point plateau, and currently ranks seventh for both career points (1,158) and rebounds (705). Surette holds the second-best marks at CSC for season scoring average (18.0) and single-game points (37). She was a two-time first team all-CCC selection, and was voted CCC Player of the Year in 2006-07, as the Chargers finished runner-up in the conference. During her other three years, Colby-Sawyer won the CCC crown and made appearances in the NCAA Championship.
Education
Surette graduated from Colby-Sawyer in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and sport.
