MaryLynn Skarzenski

Skarzenski has been the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at UNE for two years now, and serves as the program's recruiting coordinator. Over her time with the Nor'easters, Big Blue has captured its first ECAC Championship in program history, as well as the first conference title since 2000. In addition to her coaching duties, Skarzenski is an advisor for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

A 2009 graduate of Nichols College, Skarzenski had quite the collegiate career as a member of the women's basketball team. She was a four-time The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) First Team All-Conference selection, as well as a three-year member of the TCCC All-Academic Team. The Woodbridge, N.J. native received several conference awards during her career, including Player of the Year (08-09), Defensive Player of the Year (07-08, 08-09), Rookie of the Year (05-06), and was recognized as the Senior Scholar-Athlete. Skarzenski was also named an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Second Team All-Star in her final season.

She currently holds Bison women's basketball records for career assists (641) and steals (409), as well as the single-season and single-game marks in both stat categories. Her 1,333 points ranks fourth in Nichols College history.
