BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England women's volleyball squad coasted to a 3-0 Conference of New England victory (25-20, 25-12, 25-18) over Curry College on Tuesday night (Sep. 30) at Coach Beaudry's Court inside the Harold Alfond Forum.

UNE (7-7, 1-1 CNE) has now captured each of the 14 all-time meetings with the Colonels (4-9, 0-2).

Ellijah Hanley led the Nor'easters with nine kills and added 10 digs. Kendall Gallaugher and Chloe Miracle each contributed 9.5 points -- largely behind eight kills for Miracle, and Gallaugher with a bit of everything, including match-bests of four aces and two solo blocks.

Hannah Nowell tacked on seven kills, with the help of assists from Abby Zamora (11), Hayley Shult (10), and Kelsey Bradshaw (6). Bradshaw accumulated 14 digs on the back end.

For Curry, Meghan Abbott had nine kills and Jasmyne Fillippini put up 23 assists. Defensively, Sonja Matheson and Kyla Martin went for 14 and 11 digs, respectively.

The Nor'easters had a season-best eight different players record kills. In addition to Gallaugher [Watch 1st 17-15], Nowell [Watch 2nd 3-2], Hanley [Watch 2nd 12-7], and Miracle [Watch 2nd 18-9], Kenzie Cleary [Watch 2nd 17-9], Zamora [Watch 2nd 19-11], Bradshaw [Watch 2nd 25-12], and Josie Eliot [Watch 3rd 21-16] made their way into the attacking winners category.
