BEVERLY, Mass. – Fisher Mills' goal broke a 0-0 tie in the 89th minute and gave Endicott a 1-0 victory over the University of New England men's soccer team in Saturday afternoon's Conference of New England contest at Hempstead Stadium.

Sean MacDonald was nearing a shutout for the Nor'easters, along with a scoreless tie against the Gulls, who were unbeaten in the CNE a season ago, before Mills put up the game-winner with fewer than two minutes remaining.

MacDonald made four saves, while Endicott's Ethan Harrison needed to make two for the clean sheet.

Total shots sided with the Gulls, 15-8, and shots on goal were 5-2 in their favor. Endicott received six corner kicks to UNE's two.

The Nor'easters are back home on Tuesday, Oct. 14, squaring off with Suffolk at 4 p.m.
