SALEM, Mass. -- The University of New England women's volleyball team posted a season-best hitting percentage of .302 on the way to a 3-0 victory (25-21, 25-14, 25-14) over Norwich University on Saturday (Sep. 7) in a neutral match played at the O'Keefe Center on the campus of Salem State University.
Kendall Gallaugher notched a personal attack rate of .714 for the Nor'easters (4-0), ending with 10 kills against no errors.
Viktoria Pavlyuk added seven winners through the offense, and
Hannah Nowell contributed six kills in 10 attempts.
Kassidy Bradshaw put up 22 assists and
Hayley Shult tossed in another eight.
Mina Regnery had four service aces and
Ellijah Hanley chipped in with three more.
Defensively,
Addie Miller registered 13 digs, Hanley had nine, and
Kelsey Bradshaw picked up eight. UNE held the Cadets to -.027 hitting efficiency in the contest.
Lillie Ells tallied three kills and 10 digs for Norwich (1-3).
After nine ties and three lead changes during the 1st set, the Nor'easters led from the start in both the 2nd and 3rd frames.Â
