FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- The University of New England received leading performances from Ellijah Hanley and Viktoria Pavlyuk during a 3-0 women's volleyball triumph (25-21, 25-18, 25-16) versus Framingham State University on Saturday evening (Oct. 21) at Logan Gymnasium.

Early in the afternoon, the Nor'easters cruised past Fitchburg State University (3-0) -- UNE now carries a 12-6 overall record into Thursday's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match at Endicott College.

Hanley tallied 15 points with 10 kills, four service aces, and a solo block for the visitors. Pavlyuk also registered 10 kills and a season-best 16 digs for her second double-double of the year.

Hannah Nowell and Kailyn Reilly added 8.5 points apiece (sharing a block), with Nowell dropping eight kills and Reilly going for six winners and a pair of solo stuffs. Kassidy Bradshaw had 24 assists, three kills, and seven digs, while Morgan Lynch contributed seven digs, as well.

For the Rams (15-8), Anna Szymanski totaled 12 kills with some of the 20 assists by Stella Bailey. Carly Beaulieu led the defensive effort with a dozen digs.

A 10-4 closing run from UNE flipped the opening frame, keyed by three consecutive Hanley aces to take the lead for good (19-17). Reilly and Nowell put away the set with a shared block.

From 13-all in the 2nd, Pavlyuk slammed three straight kills to provide just enough sustainable separation. The 12-5 finish wrapped up with kills from Hanley and Reilly sandwiching an ace by Addie Miller.

The Nor'easters never trailed in the 3rd stanza, though the hosts stuck around as long as they could. UNE chalked up the final six points, capped by Hanley's rejection next to the left antenna.
