BIDDEFORD, Maine – Five different Nor'easters scored as the University of New England women's soccer team picked up a 5-0 victory over Thomas College on Tuesday afternoon at Hazard Field.
 
UNE (7-3-1) controlled play from the opening whistle and outshot the Terriers 43-1 overall and 25-1 on goal.
 
Tori Keyes put the Nor'easters on the board in the 18th minute as she took a throw-in by Grace Wargo into the box and scored to the near post for her fifth goal of the year [Watch]. Sydney Balotin made it 2-0 in the closing minutes of the first half with her first career goal. Hannah Niles found her with a through pass from the top of the box and Balotin snuck it past the keeper from a tough angle. [Watch]
 
Kylie Curtin found Bella Reil on a long cross through the box and Reil finished to the far post to make it 3-0 in favor of UNE in the 69th minute [Watch]. Brooke Pierotti dribbled away from two defenders in the box and added the first goal of her young career on a shot to far side in the 75th minute [Watch]. Curtin redirected a pass into the middle from Wargo to make 5-0 in the 89th minute. [Watch]
 
Ariel Martin saved the only shot she faced for UNE in the first half, earning the victory in net. Claudia Kenneway was untested in the second half. Isabelle Lang had 20 saves for Thomas (3-5-3).
 
The Nor'easters get back into Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Saturday at Suffolk at 3 p.m.
