POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Vassar College received a combined 23 kills out of Devan Gallagher and Lauren Ninkovich on the way to a 3-0 result (25-23, 25-16, 25-17) over the University of New England on Friday night  (Sep. 7) at the VC Women's Volleyball Invitational.

Gallagher registered a double-double with a team-high 12 digs, and tossed in five service aces. Annie MacMillan and Madison Wilson guided the Brewers on the attack, going for 22 and 13 assists, respectively. Jordan Schreeder picked up 10 digs for the Brewers (4-2).

On the UNE side, Micaela McNamara went for six kills. The Nor'easters (1-5) got five kills, 11 assists, and nine digs from Sydney Christiansen in support, while Katie Flynn and Katie Marsh both notched 10 digs.
