UNE had seven points before Saint Joseph's got on the board, and the lead reached 19-10 with a quick five tossed in by
Lindsey Howland, prior to settling on 22-14 at the end of the 1st quarter. The hosts got within two in the 2nd, but Vose tallied seven of her points to keep the Nor'easters in front and maintain the eight-point cushion (37-29) at intermission.
With 6:36 on the clock in the 3rd, DiPierro hit her final three-pointer to establish a double-digit margin (47-35) that would hold the rest of the way. Big Blue used the latter portion of the frame (13-5) to stretch the gap to 19 (63-44).
