Four different scorers got things going in the first period for RWU. With 54 seconds left in the frame, UNE sophomore
Nick Gross (Kennebunk, Maine) put the visitors on the board off a pass from senior
Dylan Thomas (Mount Pleasant, N.Y.).
The point was Thomas' 146th of his career (66 goals, 80 assists), moving him into first place on the all-time program list, ahead of Sean Melnick '02.
Cameron Signorelli scored again to begin the second quarter, sparking a three-goal spurt that established a cushion UNE could not overcome. Signorelli notched three goals and three helpers on the day to lead the Hawks, and Drew Beck added two scores.
Luke Aubrey made 11 stops -- including six in the fourth period -- to keep the Nor'easters in check.
Gross paced Big Blue with two markers, while senior

Nate Porter (Cohasset, Mass.) had nine saves for UNE.
Tyler Thomas' goal was a point to equal Melnick's previous program record, putting him now one behind older brother Dylan at 145 in his career (95 goals, 50 assists).
The Nor'easters visit Colby College to wrap up their 8-game road trip on Tuesday (4 p.m.), while Roger Williams is back at it Wednesday against Salve Regina University.
