Mat Romano

Mat Romano (LAT, ATC) will join UNE as an Athletic Trainer starting in 2025-26.

The Lebanon, Maine native received a master's degree in athletic training from the University of Southern Maine in 2025, during which he completed clinical rotations at Southern Maine Community College, UNE, Saint Joseph's College, Kennebunk High School, and Portland High School.

Romano graduated with a bachelor's degree in health sciences from Bridgewater State University in 2023.
