Personal: the daughter of Jessica and Michael Mathewson... majoring in medical biology, with a minor in chemistry... a Dean's List student, 3-time member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, and inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society... also a Presidential Scholar... tutor and teaching assistant for chemistry and organic chemistry.
Prior to UNE: was an accomplished student-athlete at Merrimack High School... as a volleyball player, she made the all-state team and participated in the state senior all-star game... also earned varsity letters in alpine skiing and track and field... was a team MVP, Coach's Award winner and Sportsmanship Award winner in track... served as captain of the volleyball team... played two years of club volleyball with the Hardrocks.
