High School: was an Honor Roll and Dean's List student at Regiopolis Notre Dame High School... earned an award for physical fitness her sophomore year... earned several Coach's Awards and Leadership Awards... received the Capt Matthew J. Dawe Memorial Leadership award, an award honoring the captain of the men's volleyball team who was killed in Afghanistan... served as captain of both the JV and varsity volleyball teams.

Personal: daughter of Michelle and Jeffrey Winters... is an English major... her sister, Samantha, is a member of the UNE volleyball team... was a eucharistic minister... a cast member for three plays in high school.
