Heckman played four seasons at New Jersey Institute of Technology [NCAA I] from 2015-18. He was a two-year starting libero for the Highlanders, totaling 392 digs (1.92/set) and 114 assists over his career. The 2018 team captain graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
