Bailey (M.S., LAT, ATC) has been an Assistant Athletic Trainer at her alma mater since 2006, minus a sabbatical in the 2011-12 academic year. She has also served as a Clinical Educator in the field during her time back.

A 2002 graduate from the University with a bachelor's degree in athletic training, Bailey (formerly Swallow) played four years of softball for the Nor'easters and graduated magna cum laude before heading to California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her master's in 2003. While at California, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa.

She landed her first job in August of 2003 as Head Athletic Trainer and Instructor of Athletic Training at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She held that position for two years before returning to her home state of Maine to work as an Athletic Trainer and Rehabilitation Aide at Saco Bay Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy in Standish. During that time she also served as Head Athletic Trainer at Bonny Eagle High School.

The Oakfield, Maine native now lives in Lyman with her husband, Mitch.
