Karol L'Heureux has been the Head Volleyball Coach for 27 seasons. During that time her teams have won 556 matches (just 257 losses), a figure few collegiate volleyball coaches have on their resume. This past season the Nor'easters posted a 16-16 record and advanced to the semifinals of the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament.  For her team's accomplishments, L'Heureux was voted CCC Coach of the Year.  Twice during the early 1990's, she led the program to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Tournament.  Coach L’Heureux has served as the volleyball rater for the Maine Athletic Conference, as well as for NAIA District 5.

A graduate of the University of Maine Presque Isle, she is in the Owls’ Hall of Fame. She also oversees the Department's club sports program.
