Coaching Experience
Varner stepped onto the sidelines of her alma mater back in 2010. She has also spent three years as a coach and with organizing skills clinics for the Portland North Junior Olympics.
Playing Experience
Varner competed for four seasons with the women's volleyball program at UNE. She played in all but six matches (110) in that time, and totaled 736 kills along with 1006 digs. A three-time all-TCCC selection, Varner helped the Nor'easters go 27-12 in conference play during her career.
Education
Varner earned a bachelor's degree in history and secondary education from UNE in 2010. She is currently working on attaining her master's degree from Concordia University in Curriculum Theory and Design: Teaching English as a Second Language.
