Brian Razak (LAT, ATC) brought 26 years of head athletic training experience to the position at UNE, where he began in 2009.

Prior to joining the staff, he served 17 years (1992-2009) as Head Athletic Trainer and an instructor at Fort Hays State University [NCAA II]. Before that, Razak was Head Athletic Trainer at Loras College [NCAA III] in Iowa from 1983 to 1992. 

He has been active within the National Athletic Trainers' Association, serving on the NATA National Clinical Symposia Registration Team ever since 1993. Razak sat on the NATA District 5 Board of Directors from 1986 to 1989, and, until recently, served on the National Board of Certification Professional Practice and Discipline Committee.

Razak is a 1979 graduate of Kansas Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He went on to attain a master's degree from Kansas State University in 1982.

The South Hutchinson, Kan. native and his wife, Sarah, reside in Biddeford and have two grown children -- Aaron and Megan.
