Biography

2008:  once again had to fight through arm troubles...posted a solid 4-1 record and 2.21 earned run average...walked just 14 batters in 38 innings...threw a five-inning, one-hit shutout versus Gordon College in the conference tournament.

2007: battled shoulder troubles and a slow start to the season to finish with an 8-7 record...issued just 20 walks in  80.2 innings of work...hurled a five-inning no-hitter versus New England College...allowed a total of four runs in her final three starts.

2006: selected UNE Female Student-Athlete Rookie of the Year...made 15 starts, posting an 8-6 record with a 1.78 earned run average...issued a paltry 18 walks in 86.1 innings pitched...posted a pair of shutouts, including a no-hitter at Eastern Nazarene College.

High School: captain of the softball team at Beverly High...Coach's Award winner...made the honor roll...member of National Honor Society.

Personal: daughter of Donna and John Silvio...majoring in applied exercise science (pre-physical therapy)...involved in mentoring...is a member of the Applied Exercise Science Club...earned TCCC Academic All-Conference status her sophomore and junior years.
