Alberghini played in 129 games for the Nor'easters from 2016-19, and holds program records for career runs scored (114) and stolen bases (82), while ranking third in batting average (0.458). She also owns season records for average (0.534) and stolen bases (41), and game marks for triples and steals. Alberghini was a second team NFCA All-America catcher in 2019, as well as the CCC Player of the Year, and picked up a third all-conference nod (only year without was injury-shortened). She was UNE's Female Athlete of the Year and the NCAA Woman of the Year nominee in that senior campaign, and was a CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team honoree. Alberghini graduated with a bachelor's degree in health, wellness, and occupational studies in 2019, and with a master's degree in occupational therapy in 2021.
