Prior to UNE: was an all-state and all-conference player at Tourtellorte Memorial High School... served as a two-year captain and was team MVP his senior year... participated in the 2001 Senior Bowl... earned two letters in basketball and two in baseball... also lettered in track (one season).

Personal: is a political science major... his parents are Sarah and David Biron.
