At UNE:2010-2013 (3 seasons)
Hometown:Morristown, N.J.
College:Wesleyan '08

Gnall has now logged three seasons at the end of the UNE bench. This past season (2012), Gnall guided the Nor'easters to their highest win total since 2009. In 2011, the men's soccer squad put together a late-season rally of two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) wins to secure a spot in the league postseason tournament, where the Nor'easters dropped a one-goal decision to top-seeded Western New England in a quarterfinal matchup.

In his first year at the helm, Gnall's group won or tied nearly half (8) of the UNE's 17 games during the season.

Coming to Biddeford from the staff of NCAA Division III Williams College, Gnall served as assistant coach under the highly-regarded Mike Russo for one season. In 2009, the Ephs posted a 16-3-3 record, winning the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship and advancing to the semifinals of the NCAA Championship.

Gnall worked directly with the goalkeepers at Williams, as well as serving as co-head coach of the reserve team. Prior to his time at Williams, Gnall was a teacher and soccer coach at Greenwich Country Day School in Connecticut.

A graduate of Wesleyan University (Conn.) with a bachelor’s degree in English, Gnall was a captain and three-year starter for the NCAA Division III Cardinals, who won one NESCAC Championship and made a pair of NCAA Championship appearances during his time there.

Since graduating from Wesleyan, the Morristown, N.J. native has suited up for the Morris County Colonials of the National Premier Soccer League, as well as the New Jersey Rangers of the Professional Development League.

Gnall has an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), in addition to being an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Within the Athletics Department, he leads the academic advising support services.
