Coaching Experience
Barthold spent 2013 working with Grassroot Soccer in South Africa, a nonprofit organization that uses the sport of soccer to help grow stronger communities in African nations. Before that, he was an assistant coach for one season (2012) at Colby College [NCAA III].

Playing Experience
Barthold played four seasons at Colby (2008-11), where he led the Mules as a senior with five goals and 11 points.

He was also a four-year member of the Alpine Skiing team.

Education
Barthold graduated from Colby in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in English.
