An assistant men's soccer coach here from 1993-1998, Andy is in his third season as Head Men's Soccer Coach. In 2007, he led the Nor'easters to their highest win total since the 2000 season.
A coach with a very impressive soccer resume, he is also the director of soccer coaching and player development for Soccer Maine. In that position he is responsible for the coaching education program, player and team development clinics, and for overseeing the state’s Olympic Development Program coaching staff. He is also involved in the evaluation and selection of players for the state’s teams.
A 1993 graduate of Middlebury College, Biggs began his collegiate career at NCAA I University of Pennsylvania. From there he went on to play professionally in New Zealand, as well as for the Arizona Cotton of the United States Inner Soccer League.
Coach Biggs was named National Soccer Coaches Association of America Youth Boys’ National Coach of the Year in 1999. In addition to his ODP experience, he also serves as member of United States Soccer national instructional staff.
