High School: was a four-year honors student Central Catholic High School, where he earned two varsity letters in lacrosse... earned all-conference honors his senior season and was his team's Offensive Player of the Year... was a three-year member of Central Catholic's football team.

Personal: son of Angela and Dennis McCarthy... served as an Encounter Leader and has participated in the Feasts for Families Program... worked with the Saco Bay Physical Therapy 5k Breast Cancer Road Race... SAAC member... is a pre-physician assistant major.
