Biography
2012: appeared in 19 contests, drawing 17 starting assignments... scopped up 53 ground balls and added 25 caused turnovers.
2011: played in all 18 games for the Nor'easters... scored two goals and picked up on assist for the season... grabbed 28 ground balls and had 15 caused turnovers.
2010: played a large amount in 16 matches for UNE and was credited with 18 caused turnovers and 30 ground balls on the season.
Prior to UNE: played three seasons of both hockey and lacrosse at Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, N.H… as a hockey player, he led the team in goals and assists during the 2007-08 season and was MVP... selected to Northern New England Lacrosse League first team in 2008.
Personal: the son of Amy and Fabian Bourgeois... majoring in communications with a minor in business administration... also plays on the men's ice hockey team at UNE and serves as captain... was the UNE Defensive Player of the Year in hockey in 2012... is a member of the ECAC East all-academic team (hockey) and CCC Academic All-Conference team (lacrosse)... has volunteered at the Old Orchard Beach Food Pantry.
