Personal: his parents are Wendy and Timothy Gavin... majoring in education... his younger sister, Audrey, played softball at Roger Williams University in 2019 and joined the UNE team in 2020... active with UNE's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Prior to UNE: attended the Aspire Academy in 2016-17... graduated from Old Lyme High School (Conn.), where he was conference Player of the Year in basketball and a first team all-state performer... all-conference second team as a junior.
