Prior to UNE: attended Campbell University in North Carolina for a semester... graduated from Leavitt Area High School in Maine, where he played four years of basketball, and also participated in football and baseball... starter all four years and two-year captain in basketball... all-conference and all-academic performer in basketball and football... part of a State Championship football team.

Personal: is the son of Kimberly and Timothy Witham... majoring in psychology.
