Coaching Experience
Ferreira has most recently been the assistant coach of Nantucket High School Boys Varsity team -- a post he held for nine seasons. Before that, he was an assistant with the Bay State Bombers AAU basketball team in 2002, and was head varsity coach at Nantucket from 1991-94. Ferreira has also served as a director of the KC Jones Hoop Camp at the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club.
Playing Experience
Ferreira spent four years with the Westfield State College basketball squad, where he has a two-year captain and second team all-MASCAC performer during his senior season.
Education
Ferreira graduated from Westfield in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in physical education.
