Keenan has served as assistant coach of the men's basketball program for the past five seasons. He has also gone through seven years as head coach of the men's golf team, and was formerly the Coordinator of Intramural and Recreational Sports. 

A 2002 graduate from the University with a bachelor's degree in sport and fitness management, Keenan enjoyed a stellar athletic career that included playing four years of basketball, three years of golf, and one of soccer. His high point as a golfer came in 1999 when he carded a 75 to finish second individually at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship. On the basketball court, Keenan ranks fourth in UNE history with 210 three-point field goals.

Keenan -- a native of Presque Isle, Maine -- is also the Tournament Director for the Athletics Department's annual Vaughn Twaddel Golf Classic fundraiser, and serves on the Academic Support team.
