Prior to UNE: was a three-year member of the varsity soccer team at Bangor High School, where he served as team captain his senior season... was also a four-year varsity ice hockey player.

Personal: his parents are Lynn and Doug King... is majoring in applied exercise science... his first three years at UNE he played on the club baseball team... served as assistant captain of the club ice hockey team last year.... is a Dean's List student.
