Previous Coaching Experience
Lizotte came to UNE after one season (2018-19) as graduate assistant at Bryant University [NCAA I-FCS]. For four seasons (2014-17), she served as assistant varsity football coach at Sanford High School. During other times at Sanford, Lizotte was the head coach of girls varsity soccer (1990-98) and girls varsity lacrosse (1992-2002).

Competitive Experience / Education
Lizotte played eight years (2000-08) as quarterback and defensive end for the Mass Mutiny and the Maine Freeze in the Professional Women's Football Association. She graduated from Atlantic Union College in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in health/physical education, and began towards a master's degree in communication at Bryant University in 2018.

She was also the starting goalkeeper on UNE's first-ever women's soccer team in 1990.
