Coaching Experience
Hayes spent the 2016 season as an assistant coach (wide receivers) at Bryant University [NCAA I-FCS]. He logged two years (2014-15) before that as a graduate assistant coach (defensive backs) at Southeastern University [NAIA].
Competitive Experience / Education
Hayes played 26 games over three seasons (2011-13) at defensive back for Ave Maria University [NAIA]. He totaled 120 solo tackles and factored in 40 more, while grabbing nine interceptions. Hayes also returned 24 kick-offs for 628 yards. He graduated from Ave Maria in January 2014 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, and earned a master's degree in sports management from Southeastern in December 2015.
