Previous Coaching Experience
Johnson came to UNE from Concordia Prep School in Maryland, where he was the offensive coordinator in 2020, and before that, he worked with the program at the University at Albany [NCAA I-FCS]. Johnson has been the offensive line coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute [NCAA III] in 2018-19, American International College [NCAA II] in 2017, and Willamette College [NCAA III] in 2015-16. His previous stops included Mount Ida College [NCAA III], Bridgton Academy, Curry College [NCAA III], and Plymouth State University [NCAA III]. All the while, Johnson spent over five years (2015-20) working with USA Football and coached three times in the International Bowl.
Competitive Experience / Education
Johnson was a four-year starting left tackle at Worcester State University [NCAA III] from 2008-11. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications in 2012, and earned a master's degree in physical education from Plymouth State in 2014.
