2008-09: voted TCCC Rookie of the Year and Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Rookie of the Year after averaging 11.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 29 games... selected TCCC Rookie of the Week four times and MMBCWA Rookie of the Week twice... shot 35.8 percent from three-point land while making 39 treys... dished out 64 assists, good for third on the team... scored a game-high 20 points in the TCCC Championship versus Colby-Sawyer... scored in double digits 15 times, including 24 on two separate occasions.

High School: was a four-year varsity team member at William B. Travis High School... served as captain of the team... last season he averaged 24.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 6.3 steals per contest... won the MVP award for his district... chosen as Defensive Player of the Year for the district... Vice President of his senior class.

Personal: son of Sarita Thompson and Kevin Atwood... has been active in community service projects, including the PALS Program, volunteering at group homes, and helping to clean up local rivers... served Thanksgiving dinner to homeless individuals at a Portland soup kitchen... chosen UNE Male Rookie of the Year in 2009.
