2008-09: had a strong first-year, averaging 9.2 points and shooting 54.9 percent from the floor... started 20 of 29 contests and was one of four players to appear in all 29 games... finished third in the TCCC in field goal percentage... earned TCCC Rookie of the Week award Dec. 8... poured in career-high 27 points versus UMaine Fort Kent in the opening round of the Paul Bunyan Tournament... converted 15 of 17 field goal attempts in a three-game span -- all conference wins... tallied 13 points in the NCAA Championship loss to Farmingdale State.

High School: was a highly-decorated player at Del Valle High School, where he served as team captain... earned all-district honors his final two seasons and was a member of the all-defensive team... achieved all-region and all-state honorable mention status... chosen to play in the Central Texas and Austin High School all-star games... named team MVP at Del Valle... was an academic all-district selection.

Personal: son of Tonya Atwood... has participated in several community clean-up projects... majoring in sport management.
