Personal: the son of Kim and Rich Alercio... majoring in athletic training... his mother played four years of field hockey and softball at Villanova University, his father played four seasons of football at Ursinus College, and his brother, Jake, played baseball at Fairleigh-Dickinson University-Florham.

Prior to UNE: first team all-Vermont performer in football while at St. Johnsbury Acadmey... participated on an undefeated state championship team... captain... played in the North/South Senior Bowl and the Vermont/New Hampshire Shrine Game... recipient of the National Football Foundation Vermont Chapter Courage Award.
