2007-08:  Simpson was chosen first team all-conference after averaging 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game...scored 20 or more points 10 different times, including a stretch of five consecutive games late in the regular season...poured in a career-high 26 points on two separate occasions...shot 51.1 percent from the floor...displayed an amazing ability to draw fouls, as evidenced by his 193 free throw attempts...flirted with a triple-double several times, including a 26-point, 9-rebound, 7-assist gem versus Salve Regina...named UNE's team MVP.

High School:  graduated from Cleburne High School, just outside of Dallas, Texas...first-team all-district selection...chosen Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal:  son of Angielique Scott and Eddie Simpson...sports management major...previously attended Hill Community College.
