Personal: his parents are Lynn and Steve Fleurent... majoring in sport management, with minors in both business and coaching... both of his brothers were four-year members of the UNE men's ice hockey program (Tyler-Class of 2013 and Trevor-Class of 2017).

Prior to UNE: was a member of Biddeford High School's 2010 state championship team... earned Maine high school hockey's MVP as a sophomore at Biddeford (2011)... played junior hockey for the Portland Jr. Pirates of the USPHL, and was chosen league MVP in 2012.
