Prior to UNE: played five years of varsity volleyball at Brookline High School (Mass.)... served as a team captain her final two seasons and was a two-time all-conference pick... has played club ball for the South Dade Volleyball Club (Fla.) and SMASH (Mass.)

Personal: her parents are Vivian and Daniel Gibbons... majoring in nursing.
