Biography
2010: started all 19 games for UNE... part of a defensive unit that allowed less than one goal (0.95) per game, and limited opponents to just over five shots on goal per game... earned honorable mention accolades from the TCCC... two-time Defensive Player of the Week... scored the first two goals of her career.
2009: was a starting back in all 19 of the team's contests...helped anchor a defense that allowed just 0.94 goals per game.
2008: started in 15 of the 17 games in which she appeared... recorded a pair of assists on the season... set up the game-winning goal in overtime against Keene State in the ECAC semifinals.
Prior to UNE: National Honor Society member while attending Windsor High School... two-year soccer captain and two-year all-conference selection... participated in the state's Senior Bowl... decorated lacrosse player who was chosen all-conference and all-state.
Personal: daughter of Marcia Pedersen and Phil Dvorak... is working towards a psychology degree, with a minor in medical biology... also a member of the UNE lacrosse team, where she earned MVP honors and the Nor'easter Award in 2011, and received the Most Improved Player Award in 2009... named UNE Athlete of the Month for April 2011... has been very active in school and church community service endeavors, building homes in New Hampshire, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Mexico... is a UNE mentor and a member of SAAC.
