BIDDEFORD, Maine – After a first-half stalemate, Endicott College netted six second-half goals to cruise past the University of New England men's soccer team, 6-0, for a Conference of New England triumph on Saturday at Hazard Field.

The Gulls (4-2-6, 2-1-3) posted their opening goal in the 53rd minute, and later took a commanding 3-0 lead by the 67th minute after back-to-back scores that came less than a minute apart. Caden Hansen had his second goal of the afternoon in the 71st minute, then it was a pair of penalty kicks that accounted for Endicott's final two – the second of which was originally stopped by Kaden Pare, but quickly rebounded and tapped home by the shooter.

The Gulls had a 10-2 advantage in shots on goal over the Nor'easters (3-7-4, 0-4-2), as well as an 18-4 edge in total shots. UNE became shorthanded in the 66th minute following a red card.

The Nor'easters will visit Wentworth on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. before returning to Hazard Field for homecoming, when they host nationally-ranked Connecticut College on Saturday, Oct. 17.
