BIDDEFORD, Maine – The University of New England men's soccer team battled Husson to a 0-0 tie in Wednesday night's non-conference matchup on Hazard Field.
 
Total shots sided the Eagles (1-5-3), 15-8, and shots on goal were 3-1 in favor of the visitors. Sean MacDonald's three saves helped him notch his second straight shutout, and his third of the season.
 
Husson played the final nine minutes of the game with 10 on the field, with a player having received a second yellow card, but UNE (0-4-3) was unable to capitalize in the match's final moments.
 
The Nor'easters return to Conference of New England action on Saturday, Sept. 27, visiting Roger Williams for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
