Recent University of New England men's ice hockey student-athletes Joey Stanizzi and Dylan Schuett took another step in growing their startup company, Underdog Energy, by claiming the top prize in the latest season of the Greenlight Maine College Edition competition.

Stanizzi and Schuett founded their sport performance drink in 2022 and have made significant strides in enhancing their brand and production over the last three years, which will be aided by the substantial first-place check from Greenlight Maine.
