Belisle, Forrest headline six All-CNE honors

BEVERLY, Mass. -- University of New England senior midfielder Karley Belisle and sophomore defender Amy Forrest have been tabbed to the Conference of New England (CNE) Women's Soccer 1st Team, as the season awards for 2025 were released on Friday (Nov. 7) by CNE Assistant Commissioner Brett Bosley.

Belisle now becomes a three-time all-conference selection by the league's head coaches, after a first team nod last year and second team recognition in 2022. In 2024, Forrest became UNE's first Rookie of the Year since 2014.

Landing CNE 2nd Team status was sophomore goalkeeper Haley Coombs and first-year forward Emily Talbot. Finding spots on the CNE 3rd Team were first-year defender/forward Jill Hodgson and first-year midfielder Gillian McGee.

The Nor'easters led the way in total players with all-conference accolades, ahead of Hartford (5), Endicott (5), Roger Williams (5), and Suffolk (5).

Additionally, Lindsey Butler was announced as the recipient of the 2025 CNE Women's Soccer Elite 21 Award, which recognizes the student-athlete with the highest GPA who is participating in the championship.
